Xcelsior II was built in South Africa in 1980. She is a " Bruce Roberts 43 Mauritius Ketch Rigged Offshore Cruiser". Much more spacious than our former CS 27 as shown throughout the first seven years of this blog.

Cape Cod Canal (Current and Whirlpools)
The boat speed is only 4.5 knots while the strength of the current pushes us through.
